Google Voice Billing
I designed the mobile and desktop billing experiences for the newly redesigned Google Voice. This included designing the experiences for adding credit to an account and also viewing the billing history for an account.
My Role: I was responsible for ideation, creating mocks, and creating redlines for the design.
Task: I was asked to design the billing experience for the newly redesigned Google Voice.
The Problem
In January 2017, the newly redesigned Google Voice was announced and released. The new Google Voice included a completely redesigned UI for web, Android, and IOS focusing on clarity and intuitiveness along with new features such as support for group and photo MMS as well as in-notification replies.
But while new features were being released, we as a team still had the task of making sure users would still have access to features they had come to rely on in the old design.
I was tasked with designing the new user experience for viewing an account's billing history and also adding credit to a Google Voice account.
The Solution
I designed a clean and intuitive experience allowing users to view their billing history and also add credit to their Google Voice accounts within the new Google Voice UI design.
