Google Voice Marketing Page
I worked with the Google Voice UX team on putting together the updated Google Voice marketing page.
My Role: I was responsible for asset production, creating mocks, redlining, and making sure the designs were pixel perfect!
Task: The Google Voice UX team was asked to design a marketing page for the new look Google Voice.
Summary
In January of 2017, the new look Google Voice update was released! The update boasted a completely new UI sporting a more modern, clean, and efficient chat experience. To introduce the new look, the Google Voice UX team designed a marketing page for everyone to get acquainted with the new Voice apps. The page includes mocks of the apps in action, illustrations, and also links to download the apps.
Production Work
With the launch of such a dramatic UI change, it was extremely important to give off an excellent first impression. Therefore, The UX team and I worked very hard on putting together a not only beautiful marketing page to promote the launch, but also one that helps consumers with getting the new app.
Here are some of the aspects of the page that I personally worked on:
Creating and editing mocks
Here are the mocks that were used for the marketing page.
Creating assets
After the mocks were done, I helped create the assets that would ultimately be used for the page.
Creating gifs
I also created a simple gif for the mobile version of the page to show the different tabs of the app.
Redlining
Lastly, to ensure a pixel perfect design, I created redlines to detail the screens' specs. Here are some examples of my redlines.
